Moral of this story: keep your priceless portraits away from children!! Ha, ha! This portrait of my mother and her older brother, Dean, was all but ruined by apparent sibling rivalry. "Oh, yeah! Draw big ears on me? I'll draw tusks on you!" My mother was so ashamed of this portait that she asked me not to show the "before"; but to be able to truly appreciate the "after", I'm afraid you'll have to see the before! After several hours of artwork, I was able to bring this photo into fairly presentable condition. How about your cherished old family photos? Have any with bad rips or wrinkles?
