Merry Christmas, everybody! I hope you all have had a great day so far (it's 9:30 a.m. here)! The kids are up and playing with their toys. I just finished cutting up the ham that's been cooking overnight. We'll soon start getting cleaned-up to welcome our parents and grandparents in for diner. Life is sweet this morning! The girls (especially Mackenzie) was thrilled to see Butterscotch the horse standing in front of our tree this morning. She must have been especially good for Santa to bring such a great gift! ;) And while all of these wonderful things are occuring right before my eyes, I can't help but think of those who aren't as fortunate this morning. I guess it must come with age; but it takes Christmas to a bittersweet level for me. Let us all take time to remember the birth of our Savior this morning, and to count our blessings in life. Merry Christmas folks.
